Blendex Range

BLENDEX 10, 30 are a medium-density bulk products augered by gravity directly into the shothole by MEMU mixer trucks. It is suitable for use in hole diameters greater than or equal to 100 mm. It is only suitable for use in dry conditions in absence of water.

BLENDEX 70, and 85 are medium-density bulk products mixed and pumped into the shothole by MEMU mixer trucks. It is suitable for use in hole diameters greater than or equal to 85 mm. It is most suitable for use where groundwater and strata conditions are severe.

BLENDEX 100 is a medium-density bulk product pumped direct into the shothole. It is suitable for use in wet or dry holes.

All Blendex 70, 85, and 100 products are booster sensitive only, and to optimize performance it is recommended that they are initiated by 400/4509 cast pentolite primers. For column charged holes it is advisable to use double point initiation. To allow gassing in a reasonable time, the emulsion matrix should be above 10°C. Once gassed, the Blendex can be used above O °C
